[Bug 666584] Re: Sometimes screen resolution is wrong on startup

 

I too have this problem.
On startup - on GDM, i already see the resolution has changed. I can either login and rechange it back or restart and find it back to normal.
Never happened the rotate thing, tho.
Then, GNOME-ONLY, when i login, VERY OFTEN, the icons i have have all the position changed RANDOMLY.
For example, sometimes the trash is moved left, sometimes the logout button disappears (like now that i'm writing this), sometimes other icon does disappear or change randomly their dispositions..
Just to find 'em back their place the next time i log (if i'm lucky.)
