[Bug 549447] Re: eGalax touchscreen configured as tablet
With kernel 2.6.37rc1 it finally worked! The calibration was a little
tricky but now everything is working.
First i installed the kernel image and headers from Chase Douglas' link
and the upper-left corner problem fixed. Then i ran xinput_calibrator
and it gave me a snippet to add in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-calibration.conf
The tricky part was that the calibration wasn't correct. I added
manually the InverAxes option and now everything is OK.
The only think im not sure is that there are 2 devices instead of 1.
Should i just disable one?
I'm attaching the xorg log before and after.
