[Bug 524281] Re: Tens of wakes per second in "[kernel scheduler] Load balancing tick" on Core 2 Duo even with only 1 core enabled
On my Intel 945GM
with no compiz or effects
tried to explicitly disable composite in xorg.conf as per previous comment
makes NO difference to me.
hundreds of wakeups, and my netbook is now at 55 minutes uptime by battery.
It feels like having an... umbilical cable.
Ubuntu 10.10 with latest updates, 2.6.35-22-generic
