[Bug 247963] Re: [xpress] xrandr doesn't detect external monitor properly
Hello. Just came across this bug and thought i'd reopen it.
(i'm very new to all this so not sure yet about proper procedure)
i have a sony vaio e series with this graphics card...(output of "lspci")
VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Manhattan [Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series]
I have a 22" Dell external monitor connected using a VGA cable.
I can't set the full resolution of the Dell monitor (1650 x 1080)
the output of xrandr is,

I've noticed this thread has been half started a couple of times. let me
know what you need from me and we'll get this bug sorted out.
