Re: Team Restructure Ideas
Yes everyone that is op would stay op, we would seek out more ops when
needed.

Idea: I love it! Would the current ops that are not council members (Like
me) still stay ops? Would we look for more moderation? Also, The Launchpad
idea is yet again great.
We could in the topic have a topic to generally discuss so it could be
TOPIC: Gaming or anything that seems appropriate in the current
conversation... I could get a robot to do that task.

Hello Team,
I have been thinking about possibly another way we could restructure our
team that would still allow us to be our own team.
If you look at the way the team is laid out right now, we are basically a
off-topic place for youth that use Ubuntu (or any Linux for that matter) to
chat, so why not roll with that? We would not have any membership approval
process, the Launchpad team would be open and anyone that is on the council
right now would be an operator of the IRC channel. In terms of Op policy we
would use the policies already in place in #ubuntu-offtopic to moderate the
channel.
None of this is set in stone please recommend additions, changes anything, I
want this decision to be a team effort [?]
OR
We can still move forward with the BT merger but I personally am in favor of
the above idea.
Please share any comments and/or concerns.
