Re: forum area
Hi,
UY, Can phil and bipul please email me so that I can check your founder
status. Zack has been out of the loop for a while and no longer wishes to
receive the alert emails of spammers trying to join what is, basically, a
high risk group of younger people.
I will chat with the 2 new founders as to getting the forum spammer module
installed, that should really depreciate the amount of people who get
through the 1st stage of registration. For the two new founders, they will
have to log on and be accepted by several anti-spam systems. I know both of
them and have no problem in recommending their acceptance into the areas
that look out for such sad people.
As for the IRC, it is up to you all how you use a 'safe' forum area with a
link to 14 international databases that check on 'bad' people and 'bad' IP
addresses etc. The co-ordinating group for those teams are willing for UY
forum to enter their protection, so I will do it. As to yourselves using it?
That is up to you.
Regards,
Phill.
