[Bug 1765976] Re: Please guys, I'm making a pull and exchange request...
This bug was fixed in the package budgie-desktop-environment - 0.11.5
---------------
budgie-desktop-environment (0.11.5) disco; urgency=medium
* Bug fix release
- Switch off dynamic workspaces since this interfers with
creating workspaces under budgie
- Use override to improve default showtime look
- Use application overrides and new .desktop to workaround
calendar mimetype missing & launching text editor from clock
- Recenter menu logo
- Drop unneeded override for nemo icon size
- force delete of obsolete autostart budgie-welcome.desktop file
- Launch welcome via a script
- Ensure that nemo is the default for inode/directory
mimetype i.e. when double clicking desktop folders
- Change Super+E from nautilus to nemo
- Override GNOME hidden desktop files so that they
appear in the budgie menu: libreoffice math,
software-properties and software drivers
- Start GNOME Calendar in normal window on launch - not maximised
* Packaging Changes
- Control: add dependencies on dropby, showtime and quicknote
so that panel resets when these applets are removed do
not cause raven trigger to start wandering across the panel
- Control: change deprecated gnome-themes-standard to
gnome-themes-extra
- Control: Make qt-style-plugins a recommendation to allow
users to remove/change without impacting the environment

Title:
Please guys, I'm making a pull and exchange request...
Status in budgie-desktop-environment package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Can you please replace the packages "qt5-style-plugins" and "qt5-gtk-
platformtheme" with the "qt5ct" package? I know we're mostly on a GTK
page here, but there are some QT apps like KDEnlive that are
unrivalled by anything GTK based at the moment. To have granular
control of QT theming and rendering to match in Ubuntu Budgie. Your
attention to detail on clean, on point, on trend design, is the very
essence of what makes this such a fantastic, beautiful Ubuntu flavour.
It's a very simple replacement, but if it's really too late to change
it completely, just remove the "budgie-desktop-common" and "budgie-
desktop-environment" dependencies so we at least have the choice.
Thanks guys, great work...
