Re: [Question #76164]: why can`t i get alien arena to work ?
Question #76164 on xorg in ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+question/76164
Tom proposed the following answer:
If you can boot into Ubuntu have you managed to install alien-arena? and
if so does it work now? Also please could you install the partition
editor by going up to the top taskbar and clicking on
System - Administration - Synaptic Package Manager
it asks for your normal user password, not your SuperUser/Root one. Use
either search tool, but i prefer the search button because it searches
in package descriptions as well as in titles so i can be a lot more
vague :) and search for "gparted", right-click to install (may as well
get "alien-arena" from here too :) and then click the "Apply" button.
It's also good to do the "Mark all updates" here too.
Once that's done please go back up to the top taskbar and click on
System - Administration - Partition Editor
and please tell us the info in the bottom pane where the table is written in text & numbers :)
Thanks and regards from
Tom :)
