vijay gave more information on the question:
 i open  another terrminal it shows as follows 
elcot@elcot-laptop:boot/grub$
then i typed cd media (and press enter key it shows as
cdrom cdrom0
elcot@elcot-laptop: /media$ 
and then typed cd disk2 it shows as 
bash:cd:disk2: no such file or directory
elcot@elcot-laptop: /media$
and then typed as 
cd /media/disk3 and then it shows as
bash:cd: /media/disk3: no such file or directory

i closed the terminal 
then what can i do now?
