Craig Mitchell is still having a problem:
Hi Bixejo

I get the following in the Terminal session:

craig@craig-laptop:~$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall network-manager-gnome

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:

Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.

craig@craig-laptop:~$

I then tried the apt-get autoremove (as advised above) and got:

craig@craig-laptop:~$ apt-get autoremove
E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (13 Permission denied)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root?
craig@craig-laptop:~$

Any more suggestions?

Craig
