Hi Jared,
Memory and Hard Disks are two distinctly different things, and I'm
unclear as to what exactly is your problem. If your running out of RAM,
then adding a hard disk won't help, and I'm confused how you 'created
another hard drive' since this sounds very mystical :)
Perhaps you can report back with the exact error message so we can
better advise you. Please provide the exact details of:
1. What you attempted, the terminal commands in there entirety or the steps you performed from the desktop.
2. The errors or messages that resulted from the above.
