Question #76099 on firefox-3.0 in ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+question/76099

    Status: Answered => Open

vijay is still having a problem:
additional information:
from elcot , they given the following
for suse linux OS user name(admin) is root,password(admin) is elcot
username(normal) is elcot,password(normal) is  elcot

for ubuntu OS user name(admin) is **, password(admin) is elcot
user name(normal) is elcot,password(normal) is elcot
** means root login is not possible in ubuntu.only during installation of software/hardware ,use the root user password as elcot

another thing i want to say
when we are unable to use the suse linux (because error 15:file not found (this is due to when updating the software updates) we go for ubuntu .
on ubuntu after some days we change the password for elcot username from elcot to sipcot.(that is user name elcot , password sipcot .
and now today i want to change this password (sipcot to elcot)
system=>admin=> users and groups ,in user settings properties under set password by hand,typed user password as elcot and confirmation as elcot and then click ok it shows as user password is too short.it must be six characters. what can i do for this ?

and another thing
in the gedit menu.lst page .there are two lines what we added along with the others.
