Re: [Question #76174]: How do I disable automounting for mtp devices?
Question #76174 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76174
gnimsh proposed the following answer:
I used this fix:
This is just a work around. I changed /usr/share/gvfs/remote-volume-monitors/ gphoto2.monitor to allow the device to be mounted.
[RemoteVolumeMonitor]
Name=GProxyVolumeMonitorGPhoto2
DBusName=org.gtk.Private.GPhoto2VolumeMonitor
#IsNative=false
IsNative=true
from here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/330383
And it has prevented the MTP player from automounting, allowing it to be
detected by rhythmbox upon loading.
