Message #02228
[Question #76800]: This isn't a Gnome terminal problem... I had to report a bug to be able to access the internet, because both my panels are missing.
New question #76800 on Ubuntu:

Ubuntu 9.04,
I may have deleted something in a Janitor's cleanup, because I have no access to either panels... they're both gone, and I don't know how to launch an application! I can open the terminal, via a shortcut key, but don't know many commands...
I noticed the grub-loader at boot up. Something I've never noticed before. So after I restarted, I launched recovery mode kernel, and did a repair, upgrade, and fschk.
there was no visible difference. could you please help me? This is urgent! I don't know how to use the computer without the panels...
