Re: [Question #75206]: Can't play AVI videos, player shuts down
Question #75206 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/75206
Status: Answered => Open
Alex_Mzt is still having a problem:
Yes, the player shut down inmediately after I try to open any avi video.
I did what you suggested, only I couldn't install "GStreamer fluendo
MPEG2 demuxing plugin", it said that it was in conflict with another
application, thay I should use Synaptic to fix it though I don't know
how.
After partially doing what you suggested I still have these problems
with all players except SMPlayer, when I try to open an avi video with
it it doesn't shut down, I can hear the audio but the video is black.
Should I try to find a way to install the plugin that failed?
Thanks,
Alex.
