Sorry i didn't get in here earlier today!  When you changed the value of
"default" from "0" to "1", that's what changed which menu line is the
default.  Keeping it on the Ubuntu line means that it should just boot
straight into ubuntu, which is the option we know works.  Please try
using the menu to boot into openSUSE and let me know if it works :)
