Re: [Question #77010]: problem with add/remove
Question #77010 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77010
Tom proposed the following answer:
Hi :)
There are many ways to get to a command-line to type this in. Alt F2 is
a good one but my favourite is to go up to the top taskbar and click on
Applications - Accessories - Terminal
and then into the terminal/command window/console type in (or copy&paste
with the mouse (^v doesn't work))
sudo dpkg --configure -a
it asks for your normal user password, not your SuperUser/Root one.
Note there is a space after "sudo", another space after "dpkg" and
another after "configure". Hopefully the way i have spaced out this
answer makes it clearer but really i'm just repeating what everyone else
is saying.
I hope this helps!
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
