Question #76904 on firefox-3.5 in ubuntu changed:

    Status: Open => Answered

midnightflash proposed the following answer:
"An example is http://babybluecafe.blogspot.com/";

This site is not suitable for any browser... to much information, to
many things from foreign sites are loaded through the backdoor... etc.

If so many flash-Applets are to be loaded a Linux System has to struggle
a bit, as the display has to be handled by the processor. Its Adobe who
lets us suffer indeed.

You should also try opera as a browser. That one is really a lot faster than the others usually used with Ubuntu.
