Re: [Question #76415]: maybe these will help?

Question #76415 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76415

STEVE G gave more information on the question:
Mark,

This is what I get. Note that I can connect to my wireless at home just
fine (surprise), but got nothing at three other internet places while I
traveled. It used to detect my neighbours signal too, but today,
nothing. No strength bars either.

I have a a Dell Inspiron 910 (Mini 9) It came with Ubuntu 8.04. I have
moved to 8.10, and 9.04 without trouble. Until June 6 (at least) it
picked up wireless everywhere w/o any problem.

Thanks SteveG. If you want to talk on the phone let me know.
