[Question #77413]: cannot add printer in kde
New question #77413 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77413
I just started to try and add a printer to my system. I am under dappper with kde. I have editted my /etc/hosts file. I have added a printer system actions to my menu. When I click on add printer the kaddprinterwizard says it cannot retrieve the list of printers and suggests CUPS is not running. According to system services, cups is up and running. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling cups to be sure. Any suggestions?
