I think, through Live cd, the output does not tallies with actual desktop
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ 
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ cd /media
ubuntu@ubuntu:/media$ ls
ubuntu@ubuntu:/media$ cd disk
bash: cd: disk: No such file or directory
ubuntu@ubuntu:/media$ ls
