Re: [Question #77485]: nautilus side pane very small icons

Question #77485 on nautilus in ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+question/77485

Tom proposed the following answer:
The icons in the side pane on my machine are about a third to 1/9th the
size of the ones in the main pane - a third if you compare the length
along a side but surface area is about 1/9th (logically).

Have you noticed the button at the top of the side pane that allows you
to change to "tree" view? Also notice that when the main pane is
showing things in "compact" rather than "list" or "icons" that scrolling
through a folder with lots of items is very much smoother than in
Windows :)

Also in the "Edit" menu at the top you can change a lot of things by
playing around with the preferences in there. Take care! lol

Good luck and have fun
Regards from
Tom :)
