Thanks for the suggestions but the unfortunately the problem is not solved, so
I've updated my question, and am also sending to you directly.
The problem is I do not have any option to change Release upgrade - it
simply isn't there!
I have uploaded a couple of screengrabs to illustrate the problem,

As can be seen, there is a lot 'missing' in the second shot.
