Well, qcad is shipped both in community edition with gpl license and in
closed source trial; if you intend to use the closed source trial
version, visit the vendor's website; if you intend to use (or at least
try) the open source version, well, easy peasy, all you have to do is
follow this simple guide:
https://help.ubuntu.com/9.04/add-applications/C/installing.html
and install the package "qcad".
