[Question #77748]: Proxim Orinoco Gold PC Card PCMCIA in 9.04
New question #77748 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77748
Ok...post install of 9.04 I plugged in a Proxim Orinoco Gold PCMCIA...the lights do not come on on the device.
I ran an lshw....note the card shows up as an Agere as the first item...but when I run an ifconfig it doesn't show up in the list...Is there something I have to do to load the drivers? I have searched pretty hard; a couple of hours and have not found any good hits...Yes, I am new to Ubuntu/Linux...
Thanks in advance...
