Re: [Question #77744]: is it some how possible to continue the interrupted session of ubuntu download successfully
Question #77744 on Ubuntu changed:

Status: Open => Answered
Epidural proposed the following answer:
If you're indeed using Firefox's download manager, it's entirely possible to continue your download providing a few criteria are met:
1- The file in question is still present within the download manager.
2- The file is being saved to the same place as previously designated. (Desktop, Documents, FolderX, etc)
3- The download URL is the same. This means that downloading from a seperate mirror may cause this not to function.
You should be able to click a small "return" looking arrow in the
download manager for "Retry". In most cases this should allow the
download to continue from the original mirror, to the original download
spot on your computer. If this should fail for some reason, try
downloading the file again (from the same source) and note whether or
not it continues from your previous spot. Either method should work.
