Larry Jordan proposed the following answer:
     Seems like something that would be good to have.... it appears that
Ubuntu 9.04 (jaunty) has libgtk-2.0-0, whereas the Oxford installer is
looking for the older version.  Is there a web site listed somewhere
that you can look for an updated installer?
