1) I downloaded  [ ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386 ] to my Dell computer.

2) And then I made a image copy using Sonic's RecordNow.

3) Then I made an exact copy to a blank 700MB CD.

4) Then when I place the CD in the CD drive. I just kept getting ran in circles. Here's what I mean : When I clicked on Open CD a Small window came up giving me a choice to either :
a) Save  [ ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386 ]   OR

b) Open [ ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386 ]  with a choice of opening it via
Soni's RecordNow Or Mozilla Firefox ; my browser of choice.

* Since I  didn't need to save what I already have, I tried opening it
using Sonic's RecordNow and Mozilla Firefox.

- Sonic's RecordNow got me no where
- Mozilla Firefox took me right back to the small Save or Open window.

I would appreciate your help. I am totally new to this Ubuntu.
