Note: to install GoogleEarth and to keep it auto update is not suggested
to manually install it from a .bin file.

I suggest you to add https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu the
medibuntu repository http://www.medibuntu.org/ to your repository list
and then select googleearth from the menu Applications → Add/remove or
quickly add it using terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install googleearth
