[Question #78030]: AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter [168c:001c] (rev 01) not working on Dell Vostro Laptop in Ubuntu 8.04.3

I've done the steps accoreding to https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/72059, but the wireless didn't work.
the following is the record:
