Hi Benny,

I'm really sorry, Benny. You didn't say that you install Lamp-Server on ubuntu desktop. I'm curious about your problem. Then I tried to install Lamp-Server on my desktop, like I suggested before. Just like your problem. Everything has lost. All the desktop. But, I never give up. I just run this command from terminal (note: you have already connected to the internet):
$ sudo apt-get -f autoremove
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

You will have ubuntu desktop base. So, you have to install again all the
software that you have install before. I beg your pardon, It is my
fault.
