[Question #78123]: Blank CD-R and CR-RW not recognized in my 9.04.

When I insert a new blank (Memorex) CD-R or CR-RW into my CD-ROM drive, no icon appears. The drive-light flickers for about 30 seconds before turning off. Brasero states that no CD is in the drive (so burning is impossible). CDs with data on them are recognized (an icon appears). Before I recently switched to 9.04, blank CD-Rs worked well in 6.04. My blank CD-Rs are recognized in my other computer running 8.04.
