https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78133

hello i should start with this is great i a new to ubuntu but i am really happy with it. i have a64 bit ubuntu install and after reading for a little bit i realize that you can run 64 bit flash in ff not i386 but the actually 64 bit i download it the libflashplayer10 from the adobe beta website and extract it the copy it to the .mozilla folder and created a folder with the name plugins which go ff flash 64 bit working, but i used opera as my main browser and i try doing this cp ~/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/opera/plugins/ which should had copy the file to opera but it said that i had permission i was denied. so been new to terminal i was wondering how can i bypass this or if a can install the libflashplayer.so file in another folder to make opera work with flash thank you.
