Re: [Question #78138]: Tethering Samsung SCH-R450 For Web Access
Question #78138 on Ubuntu changed:

Status: Open => Answered
Tom proposed the following answer:
I would be very suspicious of what a mobile phone company means when it
claims "unlimited web access". It implies that this access is free but
it doesn't actually say that & if the web access was free then it would
be a major marketing ploy so they would state it much more clearly,
surely, something like "free web all the time anywhere" lol
I have been fooled by a few such claims in the past and would suspect
that what they mean by "unlimited web access" is that they think they
have mastered the impossible location/distribution/network problem and
seem to be suggesting that you can access the web anytime, anywhere for
example on a train in a tunnel, in the Hebrides, underwater, in a cave
and so on. Doubtless they have disclaimers for this too written into
the small print somewhere.
Take care!
Good luck and regards form
Tom :)
