Vishal Khialani is still having a problem:
Hi,
I tried to make sure everything is in one line but still the options failed in menu.lst

I then put it in /etc/rc.local and restarted the file and nothing happened the modem is not getting loaded.
I had read somewhere that modprobe for usbserial won't work anymore in ubuntu jaunty only pervious version will support that.

so I have no option but to use menu.lst but for some reason it not
working in that too. I have been sucessful previously in kubuntu but for
some reason ubuntu is having this problem.

Hope to get more advice to resolve this.

Cheers,
Vishal
