New question #78296 on kaffeine in ubuntu:

I had installed Kaffeine and associated codec packs but still i could not play any video files. Whatever the file it is a blue background screen only appears and video files are not playing, Not only in Kaffeine but same problem occurs in Movie player and also in VLC  player.
