a) on Ubuntu version
b) repositories enabled

Jaunty:
flashplugin-installer [multiverse]
Intrepid:
flashplugin-nonfree [multiverse]
dito Hardy

Hardy options:
if installed via Synaptic it's in
/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so  ##Flash 9

via Adobe the .deb is in
/usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so   ##Flash 10

The 64_bit Alpha from Adobe can be extracted and moved e.g. to
.mozilla/plugins
