Hi,

According to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne , there were
some suspend/resume issues with Ubuntu 8.10. Perhaps they have not been
fixed yet. The link I gave provides a somehow complex procedure to write
scripts in order to make sure the wireless "revives", but it looks a bit
complicated.
