New question #78415 on Ubuntu:

I am runnig linux/unbuntu server.
configured all syslog's files involved ( sysklogd, syslog.conf, etc) to log messages from cisco gear (switches, routers, asa) to the corresponding files in the new directory /var/log/cisco/
However messages are still being logged to /var/log/messages file.

what else do I need to change?

help is much appreciated.
