Re: [Question #78642]: Error 25 message when finising install of 9.04 -- help
Question #78642 on grub in ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub/+question/78642
Status: Open => Needs information
Tom requested for more information:
Ok, things are looking quite confused on sdc. Do you have any other
linux distros installed or just Ubuntu? Assuming you don't have any
data in your linux partitions then it would be best to just delete them
all and start again. It looks like Windows started doing the
partitioning and Windows Partitioners tend to hide some fairly crucial
information.
So from the top taskbar click on
System - Administration - Partition Editor
Right-click on sdc8, choose "Swap Off" so that you can delete it. Then right-click on sdc7 and choose "umount" so that you can delete that too. Continue deleting sdc6, sdc5 and sdc2. Finally click on "Apply" to action all that and then please copy into here the information in the bottom half (the bottom pane) of gparted
Thanks good luck and regards from
Tom :)
