Hmm.. you cannot connect to the internet using Linksys ethernet card,
can you? From the output of lspci command above, there're already two
ethernet cards. Would you explain to me, why are two ethernet cards on
your laptop? Have you try to release one of them, then try to use it to
connect to the internet?
