[Question #78748]: Recover Ubuntu _with RAID 1_ after installing windows
New question #78748 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78748
Hi,
I have ubuntu 9.04 installed in my computer. I have two discs and I have RAID 1 as following:
/dev/sda1 + /dev/sdb1 RAID 1--> ext4 ---> /
/dev/sda2 + /dev/sdb2 RAID 1--> ext4 ---> /boot
/dev/sda3 + /dev/sdb3 RAID 1--> swap
/dev/sda4 + /dev/sdb4 RAID 1--> ext4 ---> /compartit
I installed windows xp and (obviously) it overwrite grub. I want to recover grub. I follow this [https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RecoveringUbuntuAfterInstallingWindows] guide, but it does not cover RAID 1 system (the /media/root in this guide should be a RAID device??).
Anyone could help me doing that?
Xan.
