shan is still having a problem:
thanx for the input guys altho you got me a bit confused

so here goes

but the problem remains i still get

at the time i was trying to install monkeyaudioplugin for k3b and i guess it all just got jammed

what is the quickest way to reset the synaptic from the terminal is what
i am after
