Re: [Question #78896]: 1 TB external drve
Question #78896 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78896
James Dotson gave more information on the question:
I am wanting to add an external 1 TB drive. I just want to make sure I
can use it with no problems in Ubuntu, " juanty " before I spend that
much money. I am looking at a WD 1 TB drive. I just want it for mass
storage of DVD's and pictures. I also was wondering if I will have any
issues using the drive to watch the DVD.iso from it directly like I do
on my main hard drive? I have never had or used an external drive at all
before. What about even larger TB drives? Will they work ok with Linux?
The only reason I asked is that WD drives only show compatible with Mac
os, and windows os systems.
