New question #79113 on firefox-3.0 in ubuntu:

I've installed Ubunto 9.04 on a Dell lap top and a Dell desktop - I've used identical procedures on both machines and both work well - BUT - on the lap top Fire Fox shows me a news feed on the line between the tool bar and the tab bard (what is that line called) but the desktop doesn't - what have a not done on the desktop and did without realising on the laptop?
