Re: [Question #78969]: How to install ubuntu with Suse linux?

Question #78969 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78969

    Status: Open => Answered

Tom proposed the following answer:
Open a new terminal and just do

cd /boot/grub

gedit menu.lst

or replace the gedit command with whatever text-editor you're used to in
openSUSE. Yes the point of closing that other terminal console was that
once you had typed in "su" then all the commands that follow are given
SuperUser rights which can cause quite a few problems. If you launch an
applications (such as gedit) from a erminal console then closing the
terminal should close the app too so that was all working normally.
Sorry, i should have warned you

Anyway, good luck now, regards from
Tom :)
