[Question #79125]: volume works good until i plug in headphones, then volume decreases till silent and a reboot is neede for any volume at all

I have been running Jaunty since release date. My volume works great until I plug in my headphones.  Then, the volume gradually decreases until there is none at all. After that, I can't get any volume at all till I reboot.  The volume manager shows all levels full even though there is no volume. I'm lost.  Thanks, Trenchview
