New question #79238 on Ubuntu:

I set up a DNS server on 8.04 LTS, it resolves l external addresses like www.ubuntu.com, www.google.com well but fails on local addresses.  If do I lookup or dig mail.sadeeb.local it works but ping does not and opening it in browser does not work too.
