I have an HP pavilion dv2000 laptop and im pretty new to linux... ive just installed it on my computer about a week ago... now am using ubuntu 9.04.... I havent been able to get any sound to play at all, using rhythmbox or any other program that is, including video sound, by looking into some forums i ran with command lspci | grep Audio....
output for above command was:

00:07.0 Audio device: nVidia Corporation MCP67 High Definition Audio (rev a1)

could any please help based on above information..  thank you....
