I sincerely apologize that it has taken so long to got a reply.  The
answer is very simple.

I recommend joining the official Ubuntu forums.  There, Ubuntu has a
wonderful community who are a lot quicker at answering questions than
here.  This is partly due to the massive size of the forums there.

Anyway, the only way to have VB support is to download and install
IEs4Linux.

Just follow the instructions on that page, and you should be good to go!
